n00b Chronicles: Washing the Dishes
When we first moved into our apartment, we checked the amenities so we could report to management any necessary fixes. I told my roomies that we absolutely needed to make sure our garbage disposal was fixed. They looked at me and chuckled and said that we actually don’t have one and that not having a garbage disposal is typical for New York apartments.
Seriously? NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL? So...

Madison Square Garden: Knicks vs. Heat
I went to my first Knicks game last Thursday. The game was good, company was great but I need to have a few words with operations at Madison Square Garden (MSG - really?? MSG?).

n00b Chronicles: Getting Packages
I love ordering things online but living in New York has really complicated things. One of the things you look for when finding an apartment as a nice-to-have is a doorman. My place is great but I don’t have a doorman. What that means for me, is that I have to either guard the apartment until I get a buzz or get a “UPS WAS HERE” slip and track my package at the nearest store.

The right clothes, the right transportation, not too much in your purse, enough to carry coming home if going shopping…the list goes on.
