Montauk Beach
Before moving to New York, I developed an expectation of the Hamptons. Through credible sources - like rap videos, and especially the movie White Chicks - I learned that the Hamptons is where you rock the hardest Ralph Lauren, all white, huge straw hats, Sperrys and you go to the Hamptons just to say…”I’m going to the Hamptons.” Steph and I started planning and searching for houses we can rent many months back so I could live the life of Diddy, Latrell and the like. We found a beautiful cottage in Montauk - which is located in East Hampton. The house was amazing and fully equipped with a huge kitchen, pool, fire pit, country style rooms.
Day 1 Highlights: All white day, American flag bandannas and temporary tattoos (you’re welcome, gang), beer pong, spaghetti and meat balls, a very sleepy trip to Surf Lodge and 4 chicken sandwiches that I ordered and ate by myself. Returned home to polish off another plate of spaghetti.

All White Day - heading to Surf Lodge - Skillful photo bomb here…

Obsessed with this picture - too much going on…
I don’t have pictures from the other two days because I got lazy but here are some highlights…
Day 2 Highlights: The beach. Attempting to “surf” and getting worked by the waves (left Montauk with an inordinate amount of bruises), bbq at the house, flip cup, pickle backs, corn, James and Michelle stepping on nails.
Day 3 Highlights: Recovery!
Overall, the trip was a success. And OKAY, fine - we didn’t really meet Diddy on the trip but I sure felt like him! The trip was ridiculously relaxing, it was great to get away and be by water! Next trip: Yacht party (on the yacht I’m going to own).
