Favorite Things: July

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Seems as if I’m a wee bit behind on updating this bad boy. To my 6 faithful readers - thank you. You are my inspiration.

July was actually quite the tame month and it was filled with a bit of introspection and personal growth. Fantastic!

For July’s Play - I’m going to plug Philanthro NY. Philanthro hosted Engage - a collaborative multi-city volunteer day. Philanthropists from LA, SF, Seattle, San Diego, and New York got together in their respective cities and volunteered! Philanthro NY volunteered with the Lower East Side Ecology center to help clean up/weed East River Park. Despite the heat, the event was a great success and it felt great to dedicate my time to something outside of beer. If you want to be a do good-er too, join us for happy hour on September 15th at Union Bar or sponsor us as we raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation!

Following the event, Stephanie and I had some alone time at what might very well be my new favorite brunch place.
